Most customers we come across are not aware that recycled roofing materials are an option. There are several recycled options out there if you are looking to take a less environmentally harmful route in replacing your roof! Everything from recycled milk jugs, soda cans, carpeting, and tires can be recycled and made into a new roofing system for your residence. Roofing systems made from recycled tires carry a Class A fire rating, and are very good insulators of the home beneath. Recycled metal roofing made from aluminum are very long lasting and sturdy. Recycled wood can also be used/transformed into shakes and wood shingles, which is a great option for a more natural looking residence.
